Biography

Hello! My name is Harriet Russell, and I am your Certified Wellness Empowerment Coach. I work with women to improve their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health by giving them the tools to achieve balance in their lives and a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them. When we are balanced and feel connected, we are better able to experience complete joy, feel more fulfilled and make better choices for ourselves with clarity and mindfulness. I am in the business of healing... healing the heart, the body, the spirit, the essence of who you are … healing from the darkness, the pain, the trauma because I know what hopelessness feels like. I know what self-hatred feels like. I know what worthlessness feels like. I know what binge-eating feels like. I know what being obese feels like. I know what not feeling strong or powerful enough feels like. I know what getting lost in the dark feels like. I know what being homeless, being abused emotionally, physically and mentally feels like. I know what attempted suicide feels like because I have been there, done that and now know what healing and seeing the sun feels like. I have lost and gained weight so many times. Each time I lost it, I gained it back. Why? Because I had a lot of emotional weight that I was carrying around. A lot of clutter and baggage that kept me in the same state of mind. The weight loss was just a temporary shift. The inside was still broken. I did not change my habits. I did not address the issues that caused the weight to pile on. I did not seek the real nourishment I needed. I did not clear the clutter. I did not analyze the pounds that I tucked away and why. I did not lose weight for me. I did it because others told me that I was fat and needed to lose weight. I did not understand that weight loss was more than just running and exercise. It is more than nutrition. It is more than what you see in the mirror. I have spent the past years learning, gaining experience, collecting certifications and courses that have helped me understand the dynamics necessary to live a quality, balanced, happy life while learning to manage stress and emotions that cripple us and pile on the weight. If you find yourself looking for a better life or ways that you can improve your wellness mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually, I am here to help. My space is a judgment-free space, and there is no issue too big for us to tackle. I am that accountability partner who cheers you on and celebrates your success.
