Biography
Yuko was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. I was always an active child and played basketball in school. I got a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education in Japan, but instead of becoming a Phys Ed teacher I moved to New York to pursue my dream of becoming a dancer. I have performed in several dance shows and musical theatres. I retired from performing and started to work in the hospitality industry but passion for dancing and exercising never died. After going through knee surgery and arthritis, I realized that I should appreciate my hard working body more and take care of it even better. With the curiosity and interest in human body , the anatomy and muscles, again I decided to shift my career to fitness. I am passionate about letting people who have never exercised in their lives experience the exhilaration and healthy lifestyle that exercise brings.
