Biography

I hold an Associate's degree in Kinesiology/Athletic Training from Santa Barbara City College, a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology/Physical Therapy from San Diego State University and a Master’s degree in Kinesiology/Sports Performance, Strength and Conditioning, Sports Science, and Biomechanics from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego,CA. With over of 5 years of experience in personal/group training, athletic trainer in an out patient physical therapy settings, and youth sports performance coach. Throughout graduate school, I worked with PLNU athletes in strength and conditioning and sport science, a performance scientist fellow with San Diego Legion (professional rugby), and in private sports performance and physical therapy settings (Novos Athlete). Ultimately, this educational background and hands-on experiences allowed me to confidently and safely work with general population and athletes to improve athletic performance, reduce risk of injuries, and ultimately help others achieve their fitness and health goals. My training approach is evidence and science-based practices, individualized to general population and athletes, and focused on long-term results—whether the goal is better health, pain-free movement, improve body composition, reduce risk of injuries or peak athletic performance, I'm here to help and I look forward to be working with you.
