Biography

I bring nearly three decades of combined clinical and fitness expertise, backed by a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Southern California (USC) and a degree in physical therapy. Since 1997, I have built an extensive background as a licensed physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation, pre- and post-surgical recovery, and clinical evaluations. Holding elite credentials—including the Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)—I bridge the gap between clinical rehabilitation and functional movement, drawing on experience across hospital outpatient clinics, gyms, boot camps, remote coaching, and running a successful in-home training business in Long Island. My primary passion lies in restorative fitness—specifically helping out-of-shape adults aged 40 to 50 safely rebuild their strength, recover movement confidence, and establish sustainable health routines. While I am well-versed in formal clinical tools like the SFMA, my core approach emphasizes foundational postural and lifestyle assessments to drive rapid, meaningful physical improvements. As a minimalist trainer, I specialize in bodyweight and calisthenics-based workouts for clients without home equipment, utilizing structured six-week progression blocks targeting fundamental movements like squats, deadlifts, and push-ups.
