Biography

Juliet has been a health/fitness professional for over 20 years and uses her unique experiences with diverse clients as a basis for her individualized approach to fitness. Having always loved the physiological benefits of movement, her introduction to conventional fitness was an eclectic mix of multicultural fitness based dancing. She has experience working with clients having conditions ranging from arthritis to neuromuscular disorders. Juliet has helped clients achieve diverse goals including athletic conditioning and injury rehabilitation. She is very skilled in helping seniors with mobility and agility. Studying social sciences has helped her recognize the multifaceted nature of peoples’ health. In helping people achieve greater wellbeing she considers people’s entire lives, not just their physical health. Juliet examines people’s total life events and stressors in helping them achieve optimal satisfaction, including lifestyle change and preventative measures. She always strives to empower people, enhancing their confidence and ability to regulate their own health. Juliet holds certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Certifued Personal Trainer as well as the American and Aerobics Fitness Association of America in Group Exercise Instruction and Personal Fitness Training. She has extensive experience in personal training and well as group fitness. Her diverse wellness background is indicated by her dotFIT Certification, and SilverSneakers® Fitness Program Certifications. She also maintains knowledge of current wellness trends and research by attending workshops such as AFAA Practical Pilates™ Training and AFAA Fighting Obesity: The Practical Way.
