I grew up in Boston, Massachusetts where I was the Health and Wellness Coordinator a YMCA. While working for the YMCA, I trained multiple clients, taught various classes and created/starred in two fitness workouts videos for the launch of the YMCA fitness App. My focus is on training the body to communicate better with the mind by integrating stimulating exercises. Some of my favorite ways to do this is by re-teaching the body the difference between active mobility/dynamic stretching, TRX body weight training, abdominal control, resistance training and total body strength. It is through ISSA that I received my Personal Training & Glute Specialty certifications and focus on functional holistic health. I really enjoys working with individuals who wish to better themselves through learning new aspects about themselves. I found my passion for fitness due to having my own injuries and limitations. As a young adult I tore my ACL and also fractured my Thoracic Spine, which left me unsure if I would ever walk again. It was through this hardship that I learned the value of fitness, nutrition, consistency and hard work.
