Biography

I first began my fitness journey by preparing for basic training for the Army. I excelled in this more intense environment and went on to achieve the award of Distinguished Honor Graduate for my Advanced Individual Training (AIT) class. Upon my return home from training, I was involved in a freak accident with my horse. With a broken back and a torn shoulder labrum that left me needing surgery, my fitness journey was put to an abrupt halt for many months. The journey back into the gym was painfully slow and came with many challenges. I continued to push myself after having realized I took for granted the simple ability to be able to even go for a walk. I was determined to appreciate all that my body could still do for me after being nearly paralyzed. This mindset allowed me to push myself every day into bettering myself. I began lifting weights again and trained all throughout college. I attended the University of Wisconsin- River Falls, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Equine Reproduction. After college, I wanted to take my passion in fitness to another level, so I began training for a bodybuilding competition. I stepped on stage for this first time in fall of 2023 where I won an overall title and became nationally qualified. I maintain a similar mindset that got me through my injury to this day, and my goal is to steer others towards finding their own intrinsic motivation and drive! My love for fitness is also strengthened by the nutrition aspects involved. I have an incredible sweet tooth, so I have found a passion for re-creating recipes in a higher protein and healthier form! I love to share these things with others!
