Growing up I was heavily involved in sports such as Cricket, Volleyball and Track and field events like Shot-put and High-Jumps. Unfortunately in my senior year of high school, I gained a lot of extra weight due to not being as active in sports and adopting poor eating habits. I tried to go to the gym every once in a while but, struggled to be consistent due to school. I was miserable just trying to scrape by with good grades. Fast forward 2 years, I was introduced to weight training. It changed my life! Within the next few months, I shed 27lbs. Slowly and steadily I found my life coming into balance and for the last 8 years I have been consistent with working out. I began learning about Hypertrophy (bodybuilding) and strength endurance training programs. It was then that I decided I wanted to become a fitness expert and pursue my dream of being a bodybuilder. I learned so much about myself through physically, and more importantly mentally, pushing myself to my limits. The only way to be where I am today is with discipline, consistency and a drive that never quits. This passion carries through in all areas of my life.
