Biography
I bring over eight years of physical fitness and medical experience from my military background, which deeply informs my emphasis on movement safety and exercise physiology. After completing an intensive, veterans-exclusive Certified Personal Trainer course and earning my ISSA certification, I began building my hands-on experience coaching one-on-one personal training clients as well as managing front-desk operations. I later expanded my coaching versatility by transitioning to group fitness, where I led high-intensity interval training (HIIT) classes for groups of 12 to 20 clients. Complementing my fitness credentials, I have over a decade of emergency medical experience—including work as an emergency room technician—and hold AHA BLS/CPR and CPR/First Aid Instructor certifications. In my personal training practice, I focus on conducting detailed initial assessments to tailor workout programs around each client's unique goals, coaching preferences, and injury modifications. My medical background gives me a distinct advantage in prioritizing injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and safe execution. I specialize in leveraging bodyweight movements and adapting routines to fit any available space or equipment. To ensure consistent progress, I use custom tracking tools—whether on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule—and take an educational approach to walk clients through physiological changes, such as muscle gain and fat loss, using positive reinforcement to keep them motivated.
